Floating Forms
Overlapping organic ovals inspired by grapes, olives, lemons & all things Italian. In this series, I create layers of positive shapes and negative space using a rubber printmaking brayer rather than a paintbrush. The push & pull of the brayer lends a faceted, gemlike quality to the acrylic paint that's quite different from using a paintbrush.
